Christmas Party 2008
The kids cranked and cranked
and cranked and cranked!
Here is my nieces Brit and Jen.
We started the evening with dinner. It was a soup and potato bar. There was 40 people there so there was 3 tables like this full of people. It's awesome!
Shelby and Aunt Tammy, all in red, still supporting the UTES!
After dinner all the kids decorate premade Ginger bread houses. It turns into a huge group effort! This my niece Ashley helping her little girl McKinley.
Grandma Jeanine and Adison
Shelby , Kasie and Tessa
Tammy even got in and made one since her son, Drake, didn't. Her was quite detailed. She worked long and hard on hers . She was the last of "the Kids" to finish.
CONCENTRATION!!!!
Shelby was so proud of her work
Tag man with his great art work.
Santa arrived shortly after the ginger bread mess was cleaned up. First called to sit on his lap was Adison. She was so excited. She told him all she wants for Christmas is a horse and princess dress!! That's gonna be fun to figure out.
Shelby in her basketball attire only asked for a $300.00 cell phone, Santa let her in on the good news he doesn't deal in cell phones!!
Cheyanne, trying to charm Santa into an I Pod.
This is my little "great niece" ZOEY of Zo Zo bugs. This is her second Christmas and she still not to sure about Santa.
Alex put in his order for a new bike and tires for his old one.
This is my enormous nephew Drake. When he got called to sit on Santa's lap he suggested that since he was bigger than Santa (and he is only 16) that Santa should sit on his lap. Santa was more than happy to oblige!!!
Time to open gifts!
This is Cheyanne, Tessa and Shelby. Tessa got a tickle me cookie monster. Adison kept stealing Tessa's other cookie monster while deer hunting and it became quite comical watching Tessa try and take a toy from a baby. So I guess Santa saw it fit to give her another so she can share!! Cheyanne is just happy because Grandma Jeanine has now reclassified her in the "big girl" category instead of "the kids" category. She has been so grateful for the promotion!!
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a super profitable New Year!
Love,
The Dukes

Looks like a great party. I've obviously lost track of how old everyone is now as I still remember them from back in 95 at Floyds house.
