October 12, 2007 Adison's 2nd Birthday

Adison Joy Duke is now TWO.

Beware the terrible two's are here.

The definition of terrible two's: A child (no matter the age) that throws themselves upon the floor and then begins kicking while screaming NO! NO! NO! This can often times be replaced with the words MINE! MINE! MINE! or plane AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Also involves the the refusal to bath and then after bathing, the refusal to get out. Bitting often times follows these fits. The whole time a parent is reminding themselves "just count to ten, take a deep breath"After all is said and done the child cuddles up to you and says the words "I love you." At which time you realize you have the sweetest most beautiful child in this whole world!

Adison is in love with Dora and so she got her Dora cake. Mom got the sticker shock after realizing the cake came with the price of $32.00. Anything for Adison!


Here is Adison with her new Dora dress up earings. Isn't she beautiful? She already knows it. She says "Adisons beautiful" She got lots of fun toys like a Dora chair, Dora cell phone, Dora tricycle, Dora bath toys, Dora see and say. You get the point. She got a medical kit that she loves to listen to the boom booms. She got a set to do dishes now she doesn't have to wash Shelby's cell phones any more! She got snow boots, Jammas, little tykes campo set, cash register and a coat. In other words She got spoiled rotten!



She had aunts, uncles, cousins, Grandmas and grandpas, mom and dad, sisters and brother all there to share her cake with.

Adison wasn't the only ine doing the playing. Here are the 2 teenagers Tessa and Shelby playing with the cash register. They were quite entertained

This is sad but true

The Binkis and Bottles are gone

She even thinks naps are done

She has a mouth full of teeth

and piggys that look real sweet.

But this can not make me sad

She's always the baby to mom and dad!
